The Week in Review

I have not posted for a few days because there is just not a lot new going on. The adoption front has been very quiet the last few weeks, which is to be expected. Mark and I have enjoyed a fairly relaxing week; I had a snow day on Tuesday and we don't have many plans for the weekend. It feels good to get caught up on school work and cleaning, laundry...etc. I am sure we won't have many quiet weekends when we have a baby around so we will take advantage of them now. I was able to paint our bedroom last weekend, with the help of my dad and husband. I will post pictures of that sometime soon.

I have decided that while I wait for this baby, I need something else to focus on, so I am starting to train for the Riverbank 10K in Grand Rapids in May. It should be a great way for me to get in shape and running is always great for thinking, praying, refocusing...etc. I'll keep you posted on how the training goes. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Hey Kelli, IS there a 10K this year? I thought there was always just a 5K or the 25K as options? Good luck! You can do it!

A quiet week sounds like a treat! Enjoy them while they last, it will never be the same when you get your little baby girl!
