Growing Up
Charlie moved into his new bedroom last night. We have been finishing the fourth bedroom in our basement for a few months and this weekend it was completed enough to let him sleep in his new "big boy" bed. I thought it would be a battle to get him to make the transition from his crib to a twin bed, but after his Bible story and prayers last night he snuggled right into his bed and fell asleep. We didn't hear from him until the next morning when he came up the steps carrying his stuffed monkey. When he saw us he proclaimed, "here I am!". I guess my baby boy is not so little anymore! I am pretty proud of how he handled his new bed so far.

Oh wow, that's fantastic! Esp. since the bedroom is in the basement. We have done nothing to finish our 4th bedroom (the only one in the basement)but neither of our girls have any interest in sleeping downstairs. ;) I think we need pics Kelli! :)
Kelli, that is wonderful! We are considering moving the boys to the basement after we bring our remaining kiddos home, but I'm so nervous about it. I just can't imagine not being a few steps away from everyone! I'm glad to hear a success story.
