I am very excited about my students helping the kids in Zambia with their change. It is so neat to think they might be helping the little girl we will be adopting!
Life is a wild ride with unexpected twists and turns. Join us for that journey as we share what God is doing in our lives and as we keep praying He will give us feet to walk the path He has in store for us.

Baskets and Katumbas
Today I explained the "Change 4 Children" project that gives my 8th graders the opportunity to raise change for kids in Zambia. Each students received a "katumba" (a little bag to collect coins in) and each class has a basket to store the coins. The katumbas and the baskets were hand made by women in Zambia.

Those students look out of control...you need to restore some order.
