The End of Paperwork?

What an incredibly beautiful day outside! I loved the full moon and stars that I saw early this morning; fall is such a great time of year and God's fingerprints are evident all over creation.

This week has flown by! Mark and I are almost done with paperwork, for now. We are meeting with our social worker tomorrow to go over our dossier (packet of info). Then, if everything is fine there, we will send it to Bethany in Grand Rapids to be approved by the head of the Ethiopia program. Next, it has to go somewhere else (not sure where- GR? Lansing?) to get official state seals put on it. Finally, when all of that is completed, it will get sent to Ethiopia. We are excited to be done with this part of the process because there has been a lot of busywork involved. Normally we would not have done the dossier in a week, and a half, but because of the unexpected change from Zambia to Ethiopia, we wanted to do things as fast as possible. We will let you know how everything goes tomorrow.

We are looking forward to a great weekend. I think we might go to the Holland Christian football game tomorrow night and then I am excited to babysit my niece on Saturday night. Hope this find you all well! Have a great Friday!

Kelli -
I saw your mom in Holland last weekend and she told me about the switch in countries for adoption. This was my first chance to check out your blog since then. It sounds like you feel content about the whole thing, but I am sure you are just ready to get your child. I do my best to keep you in my prayers (along with the baby and the agency you are working with).
