Friday afternoon has arrived... :)
It's been a good week, here are a few reflections:
Snow Day- Tuesday I had a snow day and it was great. I had worked really hard at school on Monday to get caught up, so when Tuesday rolled around I felt like I could take a little time off. I read for awhile, slept for a few hours, shoveled the driveway for another few hours :), cleaned, did laundry, made dinner... it was a nice little blessing.
School- School is going really well. I did have a few crazy busy days this week because we had to plan a chapel for Thursday, grades were due for report cards and play is in full swing (I'm one of the directors of the 8th grade play). Even though it is busy, I really love what I do. It is going to be very hard for me to give that up next year.
Weekend Plans- Tonight Mark and I are getting together with some friends for an ice cream and game night; we are all supposed to bring our favorite ice cream toppings... I am bringing oreos. Even in the winter that sounds so good :) Tomorrow we are going on a retreat to the Double J Ranch with our youth group kids from church and then we have our adult small group on Sunday night. Looks like Monday morning will come around quickly.
Adoption- There is not a lot to talk about on the adoption front. We are just waiting to hear more from Ethiopia. I think it is possible that we could get a referral anytime between April and October (this is just a guess). I hope it is sooner rather than later; our papers have been there for about a month and a half. We keep praying for our little baby; it is very possible that she is born already and it is crazy to think that our child is alive halfway across the world!
I have a blogging buddy who is adopting from Ethiopia through Bethany and her papers just got sent to Ethiopia so that is exciting to know there are other families joining us in Ethiopia!
Lately the wait has gone better; God has given me a peace about everything and I know things will happen when God allows.

I can't even begin to think what the waiting will be like...we are all waiting so anxiously with you to see how this process goes! Your dossier is the guinea of all guinea pigs! :)

Sounds like a fun and busy weekend Kelli! I agree that oreos are a GREAT topping for ice cream. :) I hope you get a referral before summer is even half over! :)
I hope you have a great weekend. It is amazing to think that your daughter is halfway around the world right now. Wouldn't it be awesome if we got to travel together to pick up our children? The next few months will give us that answer.
