5 Months
As of today, we have been waiting 5 months for a referral. I think that we have about 7-10 months yet to wait, but it is great to have 5 down. I have 3 weeks left of school and even though I am looking forward to the summer break, anticipating the transition into being at home more has been hard for me, especially with the wait we have in front of us yet. God is good and even though I have to admit that some days are much better than others, we just keep trying to lean on Him for peace and patience.

are you gonna sub? that might be fun :)
I know it's hard to wait, but the anticipation of what's to come is pretty cool. Just think how excited all the Bethany families will be when your referral comes. Your forging the way for the rest of us!
3 weeks is going to go by really fast....too fast! :( I don't want to leave 8th grade, I really wouldn't mind if you failed me this year so I could do it all over again next year! I know that sounds really stupid but I am totally going to miss ZCS....and YOU!!! And I know that the waiting has been rough, so I want you guys to know that I will be praying for you!!
Kelli, I'm praying that during the remaining wait the good, peace-filled days outnumber by far the hard ones. And when those hard days hit, esp. maybe as you're transitioning to part-time and possibly don't yet know who your baby will be, that God would wrap His arms around you and bring you the calm and strength you need. 5 months done... 5 months closer to your baby!!!
We had our adoption group with Crystal & Steve last week, and they mentioned that you were going to be done with school in a few weeks...for good. Definitely thinking of you during this long wait and transition time with work and all. Enjoy the last 3 weeks of school!
