Discouraged
I am kind of discouraged today because we have seen an increase in Ruby's seizures over the last couple of days. Not a huge increase, but I was hoping by now that we would have seen them decrease. We are still weaning her off one of the seizure meds, so maybe her body is reacting to that. She also got shots yesterday and she is teething so it could be that those things are making her spasm more. I am trying to stay positive because we have seen Ruby be more active over the last two weeks, but I want to get rid of the stickin' seizures so bad!! We have an appointment with the dietitian on Tuesday so we probably won't make any changes until then. I am thinking maybe she will change the diet a little bit to try and make it work better for Ruby's system. I still have a lot of hope that this diet will be a good thing for Ruby, but I have to admit that I am down about things right now. If the diet doesn't work, there aren't a lot of other great options for Ruby; hopefully we don't have to go down that road. It is still early... please pray we see some signs that the seizures will calm down soon.

Definitely praying for a decrease in Ruby's seizures! I will also be praying for you and the emotional stress this has to be having on both you and Mark, especially with your other little one coming soon. Please know that you are thought of and prayed for often!
