Here is the new van:
A few other new things are going on around here--
This week marked 3 months of spasm freedom for Ruby and we are thrilled! We do see weird eye movement here and there and we are not sure if that is another seizure going on, but so far her EEGs have not caught another seizure. She continues to make very slow progress.Lately she has been eating solids with more texture, putting her hands in her mouth more often, lifting her arms above her head by herself and trying hard to roll over. She also smiles all the time, which I love, especially after how crabby she was on steroids. Sometimes I get very impatient with her development, but I am so thankful she continues to move forward. The cranial sacral therapy she gets really helps her. We have been going to see her cranial specialist every other week and for the next two months we are going everyweek. I am hopeful this means we will see even more improvement. Thanks for your continued prayers for her; we appreciate them.
Charlie is sitting up in his high chair and eating baby cereal twice a day. He is doing well with it and it will be nice to stop paying for so much formula soon! I also love that he is getting old enough to sit in his high chair and play with toys for a little while.
I got pigtails in Ruby's hair for the first time. Her hair wasn't quite long enough, but we got them in :) I am excited to try some cute things when her hair gets longer.
Charlie loves playing in his excersaucer. His feet hardly touch the platform, but he does pretty well balancing himself so he can play with the toys.
Ruby is enjoying moving around in the "Creepster Crawler" at physical therapy. It is an aparatus that supports her in the crawling position, but takes all the weight off her limbs until she gets stronger. I actually just bought one at ebay so we can use it at home, but it hasn't come yet. I am excited that she tries to move herself in this thing. She wants to be more mobile, but her lack of muscle strength really restricts her. Hopefully this piece of equipment will really help her to slowly gain the strength she needs.
A Few Smiles...

they are adorable as always! I can tell Ruby is developing by just looking at her in the pictures! She looks great. Charlie is such a cutie pie too!
Love the minivan! Darin's still thinking about Mark's car (then maybe I can get a new minivan!!) Love all those teeth in little miss Ruby's mouth. Your kids are just adorable.
Hi Kelly-
I love the pics of your kiddos, they are getting sooooo big and are adorable!
If you still have your Camry for sale shoot me an email with the details. Our neighbors are looking for a dependable (inexpensive) car for their daughter who will be 16 this month. My email is gretchen231@hotmail.com.

Oh my . . . a minivan, I don't know if I ever want to get to that stage :)! But I LOVE the pictures, so cute!!! Love you and talk to you soon!
LOVE the pictures and love Ruby's pigtails :). She looks beautiful! So thankful with you that things seems to be going better for her. And what a blessing that Charlie is such a happy content little guy. Please know my thoughts and prayers are often with you.
Hey kelly,
not sure if you remember me from going to school together or working at ZCS, but my husband is looking for a vehicle right now just to get back and forth to work. Right now I take him with our only car. If you still have it available could you send me some info on it and maybe a picture and a price. my email is jercscholten@att.net
Thanks, Emily
Look at your beautiful children! They are just growing and growing! How awesome that Ruby will get the therapy weekly...
Adorable pictures! Thanks for posting them. We both became minivan moms in the same week. haha. It's a good phase.
The exersaucer is a great thing! Samantha still goes in hers and eats cheerios in it. I love it.
And yes, isn't the highchair a wonderful thing. :) A cup of cheerios or gerber puffs goes a long ways. haha. Tiger will learn to love the highchair too. Samson loves it when I put Samantha in there. :)
Have a fun week!
Kelli, that is wonderful news. Nice minivan too. Ruby and Charlie look great. Sounds like Ruby is making progress. That is super great and I am so happy to hear it. Her hair is super cute! Great Job. Prayers for you all!
