We had a great whirlwind of a weekend in MN. We drove through the night Thursday night and the kids slept most of the 11 hours which was great. I would much rather be tired and have happy kids then be rested and deal with crabby kids :) Friday Mark got to golf with his brothers and dad and then Friday night we celebrated his Grandma's 80th birthday with a catered prime rib dinner at her church. All of Mark's aunts and uncles on his mom side were there and a lot of cousins too. The prime rib was delicious and it was fun to catch up with relatives we haven't seen in a long time. Saturday morning there was a brunch/open house for his Grandma; here we met many of Grandma's friends and caught up with more relatives. After the brunch we took family pictures at the park across the street and then enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing at Mark's parent's house with his family. We left for home Sunday morning. It was a crazy busy weekend, but the kids did great and I am glad we got to see everyone.
