One year ago today we first met our Ruby. She was a tiny, sick, scared baby when we first saw her; I remember feeling so excited to meet her on this morning a year ago. When we finally held her I was so relieved to have her in my arms but terrified because we knew something was not right. Wow-- it has been quite a year.
Ruby- You are our precious daughter. You have forever changed us for the better and we love you from the bottom of our hearts. We pray God will use your story to make a difference in lives of others. We are blessed to have you in our arms. Love your Mom and Dad.

Happy One year of being with your family Ruby! May year two bring lots of milestones reached and many blessings to you and your family!
I just wanted to say hey and that I am praying for Ruby to beat these spasms. She has come a long way in the year even with the spasms.
You are right to have hope. As parents of kids with IS, it is the only choice we have. My daughter has failed most meds and we are proceeding to the ketogenic diet as soon as we have trialed our current AED. It sounds more promising than many of the drugs that have so many awful side effects.
Hoping you find a way to get seizure control again soon and that her next year is even better than her first with you.
It is amazing to see the pictures side by side. You guys are awesome parents!
Congratulations on your one year anniversary of your Gotcha Day.
Ruby is so stinking cute. I find your story inspiring. The way you love Ruby, and fight for her health needs is the very definition of being a mother at it's finest. I'm praying for her, and watching for great miracles in her life.
All I can say is WOW! I remember reading your story, seeing those pictures and praying....I cannot even believe it has been a year! Hugs to you all and what a special, WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL family you all are!!!!
What a beautiful testimony, Mark and Kelli. I am honored to know you both. God bless precious Ruby and Charlie.
