We are home; Ruby was discharged this afternoon. We are all tired, but glad to be out of the hospital. Ruby has been sleeping since we got home. Hopefully after a few days of catching up she will bounce back to her normal self. The doctor didn't have a specific reason for why this seizure happened yesterday, but he did send us home with an emergency med to give Ruby if she has a prolonged seizure like this again. We are praying we don't have to use it, but it is reassuring to know we can if we need to.
My brother Kyle had surgery this morning to repair his ankle. The surgery went well and he is going to stay in the hospital for one more night. My mom will be there by tomorrow to help him out at home. Prayers for his recover and pain tolerance are appreciated.
Thanks for your prayers for our family!

Glad you're all home again safe and sound!
Oh my goodness. Can't believe all you've endured lately. Ruby looks sooo adorable in the pic of you and her together. Prayers for you!
Glad you are home! Praying she doesn't have another one like that again!
We're praying for your family, Kelli!
I just read your posts about her seizure. This sounds just like the ones that Aliyah started having. The first one, which also lasted 90 minutes, occurred when we were in Mexico for ABR. If you go to my blog, you can read the details about her seizures. (www.aliyahsadoptionstory.blogspot.com) So scary! Aliyah's have all happened in the middle of the night during sleep. I have had to battle with anxiety a fair amount. Prayer and Scripture calms my spirit and gives me right perspective so that I can get some sleep, though Randy and I are still hypervigilant. I just have to trust God with her life. Fear can be so debilitating...it seems like trusting God with her life and releasing her to Him is going to be an ongoing process in my heart. I desperately want Aliyah to have a long life that brings joy and blessing to others...but I must trust that His plan for her life, no matter how long, is very good. Praying for your family!
