Thanks and a Few Pictures

Thanks to all of you who left comments on my last entry. I really appreciate your advice and encouragement. I think often I just have to relax and let Ruby be Ruby. I don't always need to figure everything out. I think I get overwhelmed when we have all these appointments with physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropracter, DeVos...etc to try to figure out what is wrong with Ruby when really there could be nothing "wrong" with her at all. She has made such incredible progress this last month and I think so many of the things we are seeing will fade away after months of good nutrition and love.

It has been a little over five weeks since we brought her home. Here are a few pictures to compare.

This is when she just got out of the hospital in August.

This is when we met her in the hospital in September.

This is her now. Check out that open hand!

What a beautiful picture of the three of you! It's amazing what can happen in just 5 months... just wait and see what 5 more months brings!

she is doing just great Kelli! She is perfect in every way because she was formed by her Creator! Your instincts are good ones, you are doing a GREAT job. Just look at how love has plumped up that baby's cheeks and opened up her little closed hands! She is doing fantastic.
