My kids LOVE the water, so last weekend, Mark and I took them to the Zeeland Rec. pool. It was $6 for the whole family to swim-- well worth it! Ruby has a special neck ring that allows her to float in the water. The water gives her a lot of freedom to move; she loves to kick! Charlie splashes like crazy. After about 10 minutes in the water his eyes were bloodshot because of all the water he got in them, but he didn't seem to care. They both giggle a lot in the pool; this is definitely and activity we will enjoy as a family.
When Charlie was a few months old we were so worried about him because he was throwing up and not gaining weight....now look at that belly!
I got pigtails in Ruby's hair-- she hates it, but I think they are so cute.
Charlie loves to read books; I think this one is his favorite. Mark and I both have it memorized.
He also love to eat. He used to eat anything we set in front of him, but lately he is getting kind of picky. I hope that is just a phase.
Here is Charlie a few weeks ago when he was sick. He doesn't snuggle very often, so when he wanted to lay around all day I could tell he really wasn't feeling well.
Charlie at 11 months. He wouldn't lay still for the picture, so this is the best I could get :) Hard to believe he will be 1 this Sunday!
