It's been awhile-- sorry. I have to admit that my kids have been wearing me out so my blog has been neglected.
Here's what we have been up to....
Mark thoroughly enjoyed a weekend at the Big 10 basketball tournament with his brothers and Dad. Minnesota unexpectedly made it all the way to the championship so he was pretty excited. He came home Sunday night with no voice because he had been cheering so loudly all weekend :)
While Mark was gone, Mark's Mom came and stayed with me to help me with the kids. It was great to have an extra set of hands all weekend. I even got to substitute teach on Friday while she stayed with Ruby and Charlie. We didn't go out much at all, because it is a lot of work with the kids, but Friday night we did venture to Target and then we got Culver's and brought food home. Saturday night we opted to stay in, grill chicken and vegis and watch a girly movie. It was good to catch up with Mark's mom and I am glad my kids got some good Grandma time in.
This week is fairly normal--a few therapy sessions for Ruby, a play date with some friends and a subbing job tomorrow afternoon.
We head for Montreal next week Sunday and we are really looking forward to it. While we are there we will have ABR training every morning from 9-noon from Monday through Saturday. In the afternoon we will be able to do some sight seeing and enjoy some time with Ruby in the hotel pool. It will be nice to get away, even if it is for therapy :) Please pray with us that God will use this therapy to help Ruby get stronger. If she could learn to hold her head up or eventually even sit up, that will improve her quality of life drastically and it will be much easier to take care of her as she grows.

Wow, how fun for Mark to get to watch the games! I'm glad you had a great weekend too. Praying that the therapy will help Ruby build her strength. What a blessing it would be to watch her learn to sit up sometime in the future!
