Go Twins!

Mark is off to see his Minnesota Twins play in their new stadium. The opening game is tomorrow night. He met a couple of friends in Michigan City and the three of them drove the other 9 hours to Minneapolis together. There they met up with Mark's dad and tomorrow his brothers will be joining them as well. This is a dream weekend for Mark. He is sooo excited; he actually warned me 4 years ago (I am not kidding), that when the Twins built a new stadium, he would be at the opening game. Well, honey, tomorrow your dream comes true. I have to admit that being a single mom is A LOT of work, even if it is only for two days. Thankfully my parents have already helped me out plenty. Even so, spending 24 hours on the road to watch a 3 hour baseball game didn't sound so bad around supper time tonight :) Oh well, that's life and my time for a weekend away will come.
