I have so many ideas for blog posts in my head, but I don't have the time right now to post much, so I thought I would just quick give you a few TenHaken updates....
-Charlie is walking! He has been walking on and off for the last several months, but I think it is safe to say now that he is walking. He is still wobbly and he tends to want to go faster then his body can handle, but he is getting sturdier every day.
-I have accepted a part time teaching position at Zeeland Christian for next year. I will be teaching K-2 general music and I will be there two days a week. My dad will be teaching 3rd-8th grade music/choir and 5th-8th grade band; I am so excited to be back at ZCS and to be working with my dad. We have some daycare options to consider and I would love your prayers for that to fall in place.
-We got our neurofeedback machine yesterday. We didn't actually use it at home yet, but hopefully we will today. Thanks for your donations at the pancake breakfast that made this possible.
-We changed a bunch of supplements last week after a phone consult with a holistic health doctor in California. I think they are good changes, but they did throw Ruby off a little and she has been having more seizures as a result. We think things calmed down a little yesterday. We covet your prayers for seizure control and better sleep.
-Mark's parents are coming late Wednesday night. We are very excited to see them, especially since my father in law said he would help us with some yard work :) Thanks Dad--the dandelions are taking over!
It will be fun to catch up with them and show them Charlie's new walking skills.
That's all for now; I will try to keep the posts coming more frequently this week!
