Minnesota

We recently returned from a great week in Minnesota with Mark's family. Ruby stayed home with Emily for the week. It was a tough decision for us to leave her behind, but it went really well and I think it was the right choice for our family.  Emily took great care of her and we were able to focus on Tabatha and Charlie for a week.

Here are a few photos from the week:

Boating with Grandpa and Grandpa

New fire truck PJs

On our way to the Twins game.

Playing the ipad with cousin Max

Charlie and Great Grandma Douma

Swimming in Lake Okabena

First tube ride behind the boat

Pool with Dad

Cousin Jade, Charlie and Tabatha having fun in the kiddie pool at Grandpa and Grandma's

It was such a treat to see your comment on my blog. I lost your link, and I wondered how you were doing. Your previous post about Ruby's birthday really resonated with me... and made me emotional. I too wrestle with birthdays for Rachel and Janneke. My two older girls are the reason we host a party - they insist on a celebration. I am so thankful to God for them. I hope the rest of the summer goes well. I hope to be back in following you again! spot

Thanks for the photos. The week went by way too quickly!! We will be glad when it is time for your next visit. We missed Ruby, but it was such a blessing to know she was with Emily and was content! Thanks again fro making the 700 mile trip and hopefully, we will be out there before long..

Love you all, Mom
