(Kelli's dad again--here's the latest update from today. Lots of good news!)

Hello Everyone-

First the bad news—the crib we rented for the hotel room costs $25 bucks a night. : )

The good news—we get to put Ruby in it tonight!!!! She is at the hotel room with us. The doctor discharged her late this morning and she sleeping soundly right now. We have to bring Ruby to the hospital two times each day so she can get medication through a shot, but other than that we get to keep her at the hotel room with us until we leave!!

After we left the hospital we took her back to the hotel and gave her a “bath” with a washcloth. She really needed that. Then we thoroughly rubbed her down with Baby Eucerin crème because she has some sores on her body—probably from laying down a lot and from diapers. Then we gave her a fresh diaper with diaper rash crème, clipped her toenails and fed her. It was such a blessing to be able to love on her like this. Now she is sleeping peacefully next to Mark on the bed ☺ I have to say though that in the first hour we had her she pooped on Mark and spit up all over him. He was a trooper about it though.

Tomorrow we go to the embassy to get Ruby’s visa. We went there today also to pay our fee and everything looked good for tomorrow. This is the last step, so we are praying all goes well.
