We're Going Home...Again!

We are going to be heading for home in an hour or two. We are just waiting for Ruby to get a bunch of vaccines and then we are out of here! She has received exceptional care and so far all her tests have come back negative. They are sending us home with a few prescriptions, braces for Ruby's hands (so she doesn't clench them) and a referral for outpatient physical therapy at Holland Rehab. The doctors are very optimistic that Ruby is going to thrive with these things and a lot of love and care. We are still waiting on a few things, but we feel really good with where things are at.

Thank you again for all of your prayers. We are very tired, but are so relieved to know that it looks like Ruby doesn't have anything really serious. God is faithful and we are celebrating that. I will try to post some more pictures and details about our stay in Ethiopia later on in the week. Right now we are going to enjoy having our baby home!

oh....I remember so well the 2 weeks we spent at De Vos with our now 18 year old. I couldn't believe how exhausting it was to just sit there and see the staff take care of your little one. Being home will be so nice for you all. We will keep you in our prayers.
