A Quick Request for Prayers

I am exhausted and headed for bed, but I just wanted to send out a quick update and ask for prayers for Charlie. Today, thanks to my mom, we noticed that his temperature was low and after monitoring him for several hours we called the pediatrician to see what we should do. She told us to bring him to the ER because that can be a sign of infection in newborns. We spent about 5 hours doing blood tests and a spinal tap on Charlie to try to see if he had any infections that would cause his temp. to be low. So far, they haven't found anything alarming, but we did not get the results back from the spinal tap yet. His blood sugar was low so they started an IV to give him fluids. They are keeping Charlie overnight for sure, maybe for 48 hours so they can figure out what the problem was. Right now he is in an incubator to get his temp back up and he is getting IV antibiotics. I left Mark at the hospital with Charlie so that I could sleep at home with Ruby. Please pray that all the tests come back clean and that we can stabilize Charlie's temp. so he can come home. We are tired and very sick of hospitals so prayers for patience and energy would be appreciated as well. I will try to post an update tomorrow when we know more. Thanks for your prayers.

Here are 2 verses I came across this morning that I prayed for you..."Relent, O Lord! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants. Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." Psalm 90:13+14
