Earthquake in Haiti

I am sure by now most of you have heard about the huge earthquake that recently hit Haiti. It is the largest natural disaster in Haiti's history. After spending time there and seeing the run down structures the people of Haiti live in, I cannot imagine how anything can be left standing. My heart breaks for these people. This is devastating.

There is a way you can help. We have friends at church who are adopting from Haiti. The orphanage where their kids are right now is called God's Littlest Angels. Thankfully, the orphanage and the kids are okay and because of that, they have an opportunity to help those around them recover from the earthquake. They are launching a 1000 X 1000 campaign. Basically, they are trying to get 1000 people to raise $1000 by asking 10 of their friends to each donate a hundred dollars for the earthquake relief fund. This is an organization I trust. I know people who have worked there and Bethany Christian Services works closely with them to facilitate adoptions from Haiti. The money will go directly to help the people of Haiti.
I challenge you to sacrifice $100 today; they need it much worse then we do. Please help God's Little Angels be the hands and feet of Jesus to a desperate Haiti.
