Yesterday we had the wonderful opportunity of going to an Ethiopian restaurant in Grand Rapids with a bunch of families who are adopting or have adopted from Ethiopia. We met several kids that had recently come home from Ethiopia. They were beautiful and it was such a blessing to see them interact with each other. We enjoyed Ethiopian food and an Ethiopian professor from Calvin came and talked to us about his culture. I am so excited that there are so many families in West Michigan that are adopting from Ethiopia. It will be great to walk through this experience with them and then when our child comes home she will have many Ethiopian kids to connect with.
On another note, the big dress rehearsal for the 8th grade play that I co-direct is tomorrow. The rehearsal today went well so hopefully my students keep up the great work. I am praying all the details fall into place!
Have a great weekend!

It was wonderful meeting you both last night at Gojo's! We had a great time...it was fun to see all the kids and to hear from the professor from Calvin. Good luck with this waiting process...I can't wait for the day when you find out about your little one!
Cool....good luck at dress rehersal tomorrow!!! Haha have FUN!
I wish I could have been at Gojo's with all of you! That is one thing we don't have up here; a community of others adopting from ET. :( Glad you got to connect with people!
I hope the play goes fantastically!
