I am sitting in my classroom among piles of papers, left over costumes, hangers, sound equipment, granola bars, water bottles and play scripts and I am reflecting on how amazing my students did in their performance last night. I was sooo proud of them; Thursday night went well and then Friday night went even better. They did the best they have ever done last night. It is so rewarding as a teacher to see my kids work hard for something for months and then, on the night of the show, watch them be so proud of themselves because of what they have accomplished. Seeing their excitement and confidence and watching them grow makes all the work so worth it.
I am sad to see this play go, but it was very nice to sleep in this morning :) My husband bought me a gift certificate for an hour long massage and I scheduled it for this morning; it felt amazing. What a great guy I married :)

Wait a minute....your room was clean!! I helped clean it just last night!! ;) They all were just AMAZING!!! I was so proud of them and could not believe how well they all did!! They did great! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!! I am so sad now that it is over!! :(
Well, I'm spending another Saturday packing...and I am very bored and very tired! I think I got home last night at around 11:45....but we had a blast! I'll tell you about it on Monday!!

yay!! I am so happy to hear that the play went well!!! My niece really wanted to see it, but I'm not sure if she saw it or not.
