What a busy week! The 8th grade play that I direct is approaching quickly and there are always last minute details to complete. The students are doing great though and I am excited to see how the performances turn out in a few weeks. It is fun to see them become confident in their roles and start adding extra facial expressions and emphasize different words in their lines. I am so proud of them so far!
This weekend we are going to Indianapolis with some very good friends. I am excited to get away, although I have parent teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday so I am hoping to take my laptop along and still get a little work done on the drive down there.
Everything is fairly quiet with adoption. Our papers have been in Ethiopia for almost 3 months now. The last time we talked to our social worker said she wouldn't be surprised if we waited around 8 months for a referral, which means we may have 5 or more months of waiting to see a picture of our baby. That seems like a while yet, but I know that the school year is going to fly by and then hopefully we will hear something in the middle of the summer. I just keep telling myself, "God's timing, God timing".

We're excited right along with you. Hope the call comes soon.
I hope you have a good trip to Indianapolis. God's timing will be right as you wait. Eight months sounds better than a year or more, so that is something to be thankful for.
How exciting!!!That sounds like so much fun to see the kids get into their roles so much!
Still praying for you guys! We are so excited to see you in a couple of weeks, I will give you a call sometime soon!
