After a few days at home catching up on school work, we are heading to Chicago for the weekend! I feel a little guilty spending last weekend in LA and this weekend in Chicago, but I guess I better enjoy the freedom of traveling without children while I can :) We are meeting some college friends in Chicago; they live in Iowa City so this is half way for both of us. We were supposed to go to a White Sox game, but now that it is 40 degrees and rainy, I am not sure that sounds so good anymore. I am sure we will find plenty to do and it will be good to just catch up with each other, go out to eat and play games. Also, because it is my birthday next week, Mark said we could go early and look around at IKEA for a little while before we meet everyone at the hotel! I love IKEA and I only get to go there about every other year, so this will be a treat.
