The Meeting
So we met with Milkiyas tonight (see post below) and he seems like such a kind hearted, passionate man. I feel totally comfortable with him being the one working with our paperwork in Ethiopia. It sounds like Bethany is doing some neat things in Ethiopia and they are working on making connections with private orphanages. Unfortunately, because these connections are not made yet, it looks like we are in for a long wait. I think it will be at least another 8 months before we hear anything, which sounds like an eternity. Please pray for patience for Mark and I as we seek God's peace in all of this. I know His timing is good, but it is hard to see the big picture when I feel like this looks like it is going to take a lot longer than we expected. Thanks for your prayers.

We will definitely be praying. Although it may seem like a long time, just continue to know God is in control and will bring you the perfect child and His perfect time. I know it must still be very hard though. I am here if you ever need to talk! Love ya!
Kelli I am praying! I know how 8 more months can feel like an eternity when you're waiting for a referral. We can hope and pray that some new connections are made this summer and that things speed up. I'm always here too if you need to email/PM/etc.
Kelli, it was great to meet you and Mark last night. I agree, the wait is going to feel long, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end for your family. Through it all, God is preparing you for your child and knows this child is the one meant to be yours.
We're praying for you guys so much! I can imagine how hard it is to wait, but try to keep reminding yourself that His timing WILL prevail. At this point maybe you're litte girl isn't even born yet and He's waiting for her!
