20/20
Mark had laser eye surgery today and it went well. I was a little nervous to have someone stick stuff in his eyes while he was awake, but he didn't seem to be too nervous. All went as expected. I took him home with some rockin' eye protector shields on :) He took some pain meds and slept off and on most of the evening. He is hoping that by Sunday or Monday he will feel pretty much like normal. It will be very nice for him to be able to see without contacts or glasses, especially when we travel to Ethiopia!

That is great! My husband had Lasik two years ago and is SOOOOO glad he did! He recommends it to everyone who might possibly benefit ;-)
Demarie
Oh wow, you'll have to update us when he's feeling like himself! Cool!
Ditto what Demarie said. My husband shed his glasses several years ago and he's so happy he did the surgery. Glad all went well.
I just did this several months ago and I wish I would've done it sooner. He's gonna love it!! I always had thoughts of getting up with the baby and tripping over everything because I couldn't see so I just did it! Good luck.
Hope Mark is recovering well. We are very excited to see you all this weekend. We can't wait to hear more about the adoption and perhaps see a picture of your daughter! Talk to you soon. Love, Katie Sue
