I cleaned up my classroom and set my report cards out and by Tuesday morning my work at school was done, at least for awhile. I am officially on summer break. Mark's parents are here for the week from MN so we have stayed busy shopping, golfing, planting a garden, hanging blinds...etc. It is fun to have them around. We are all going to a wedding in Ohio this weekend and then his parents will fly home from Cleveland.
We did hear that things are moving along in Ethiopia for Bethany. Bethany has connected with a few private orphanages in Ethiopia and they are starting to make referrals of waiting kids to Bethany families from these orphanages. This is very exciting for us and we are hoping to have a referral within the next couple of months. I can't wait for that phone call!

Yay Kelli! It almost seems surreal that it could be a couple of months away! Just a few more months! I hope so. Holly's news helped but it would really boost the morale to have another referral!! I hate this part!
Kelli and Mark I'm trying not to get too excited with the Ethiopia news but I just can't help it - that is GREAT news! Once it starts, then hopefully they'll keep coming in - and then the one (or two) that God has planned for you will become known to you! So exciting. How fun that Mark's parents are here too - glad it's a great time!
I heard today that Bethany has 18 dossiers in country. How great that you're on top of that list. Soon, soon, soon!

And by the way, thanks for having the report cards out on Tuesday....I had to pick up something from the office then anyways so I was really happy to see that my report card was there, otherwise I would have had to come back on Wednesday! I miss you! :P
I hope you have a great summer. Even though it must be hard to leave teaching behind, and especially the students and staff, you will be blessed in your next adventures. You are in my thoughts as you wait for your referral.
