Crib
We picked up a crib from Craig's List today. It is in great shape and it was way less expensive than buying one brand new. It is our first large baby purchase so I am pretty excited.
Cool!! Oh my word I am just SOO excited....I was hanging out with Hannah all day today and yesterday and we just couldn't stop talking about Ruby!!! We are both SO excited for you!!! :D
Ah!! That's so exciting! Glad you can now start to plan and shop and get all excited! Plus you can get personalized stuff if you want and can plan to have girly stuff (unlike some of us who chose the boring route). :) I couldn't tell if the crib is a finished honey color or if you'll paint or put varnish on it.
It looks like the same crib I am getting from my brother!! Very cool!! We decided to register yesterday - that was overwhelming... It will be fun having someone to watch go through the preparing at the same time as us. Take care. Beth (received referral of a 4 month baby boy on 5/27/08.)
Him cogratulations to you! I came across your blog while searching for other Bethany people who are adopting from Ethiopia. My husband and I are discerning it right now, would you be able to send me a note and answer a few questions about your experience so far? ewieck@sbcglobal.net Thank you:)

Kelli-
How exciting!! I bet Ruby will have many lullabies sung to her in that crib.
How fun! Just imagine, your little girl will fill that crib soon!
