Today was the day!! We received a referral for a beautiful, healthy, baby girl! She is only 22 days old; we are just floored at how young she is. We will be giving her the name Ruby Grace TenHaken. I can't explain how excited we are. God is so good!
We do not know a lot about time lines, but right now we are hoping to travel in Sept or Oct to go and get her. We will keep you posted as we hear more about dates.
Thanks for all of your prayers and support!!! We are praising God right now!!

well you know i am excited. kelli seriously i am just so thankful that the wait was not long and that your summer can be a summer of planning and joy instead of a summer of feeling bad about not teaching. i know that was hard for you to give up. God was faithful--He IS faithful!!

What's funny is that we had the name Ruby picked at one point and also the name Arabella! How funny. Now that we have both E's though, those are out! Though Ruby was an idea for an middle name!

Congrats!! I LOVE the name Ruby. It was my grandmother's name. How exciting to bring home such a tiny little one. I can't believe things are happening so fast -- it's amazing and wonderful.
