We had a great 4th of July weekend with friends and family. Friday night we grilled with my family and enjoyed a bonfire instead of fireworks. Saturday we had dinner at the beach with close friends. It was beautiful weather so it was so nice just to be outside.
So, Monday rolled around and all I can think about is Friday- our court date!!! I am so excited, anxious, scared, hopeful.... I want to make more travel plans but then it seems like I am counting on things going through on Friday. If I count on it, then if it doesn't go through I will be more disappointed. Yet, I can't help but think that things will work out on Friday. We will see; God is faithful and we will continue to trust His timing.
I don't know if we will hear about the court date until next Monday or Tuesday; our social worker thought it would take a day or two to hear. So-- please keep praying that Ruby will become ours on Friday and we will post info as soon as we hear! Blessings!

I am so hoping we hear on Friday! I know with other agencies, many people have heard that same day due to the time difference! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is some excellent communication happening on Friday! ;) Yikes, I'm with you girl...
We will definitely be praying for you guys as well as for the people of Ethiopia. We will pray that the court date goes perfectly and that Ruby will get to join your family ASAP.
