We are back from vacation on the lake with Mark's family. We had a great time hanging out on the beach, playing games, chatting around a bonfire, going to Michigan's Adventure, shopping, eating... and more :) It was good to see everyone and spend time together as a whole family. Tuesday, the boating incident that Mark went through was pretty scary but again we experienced God's faithfulness and protection.
We are hoping to hear travel dates in the next couple of days. We had two showers this week and Ruby's room is basically done so now we are just waiting to hear when we get to go get her. I am so excited and ready to have her home. I would love to hear soon so that we can make travel plans and start packing!
I will keep you updated as soon as we know something. Thanks again for your support and prayers. We are so close to bringing Ruby home!

You gotta post pictures of Ruby's room!!! We hope to finish Bereket's soon.... Are you just SO ready for the phone to ring with embassy appt info? I am going to go crazy in another day or two. :)
