I have the best husband in the world. Today, I thought he was going to work at 7:15am, but at 7:30 he came back home with my favorite donut from Zeeland Bakery (chocolate long john with pudding) and told me that I had the day off. He said he was taking the kids away for the entire day. He arranged for one of my best friends to pick me up for lunch and then he scheduled a massage, manicure and pedicure at a local salon!!! He told me the entire day was mine and I should do whatever else I felt like doing!! I can't even believe I get the whole day completely to myself!! A couple weeks ago I was joking about what my perfect day might look like. I told Mark it would involve a nap, a good book, lunch with a friend and a massage and pedicure. So, today is my perfect day! Don't get me wrong.... I LOVE my kids, but the idea of not taking care of anyone else for the whole day makes me feel giddy :)
I love you Mark! Thanks for all you do for me!
I will post details about my perfect day soon.....right now I am going to enjoy a long hot shower in peace.
