Back in October, when we were working with Mary Free Bed Rehab Hospital, we ordered a feeding chair for Ruby. Recently, we finally got that chair. It will be good for Ruby to be able to be in an upright position comfortably, but it is a little medical looking. As with all equipment, I am thankful for it, but I wish Ruby didn't need it; we even put off having it delivered for a few weeks, hoping that ABR would help Ruby get strong enough to use a regular high chair. When we realized that wasn't going to happen (at least not as quickly as we were hoping), we went ahead and had it delivered. ABR is making Ruby stronger, but the progress is slow. As she gets heavier, it will be nice not to have to hold her on our laps to feed her. The chair can be raised above table height and it can be lowered almost to the floor. It has wheels that are easier to move around and it also has a tray where we can put toys for Ruby to play with. This kind of equipment is necessary and it does make daily tasks, like eating, a little easier for us.
Here is Ruby in her new ride:

Oh she looks like she likes the new "view!" Glad there are options like this!
