After the MRI Ruby was very sedated and out of it for a full 24 hours. She didn't have much seizure activity during this time, but that was probably because she was so sedated. In the last 36 hours she has only had a couple small blurbs of seizure activity; this is much improved since last week Wednesday and Thursday. We are being cautiously hopeful at this time that the Vigabatrin (the 3rd drug she is on) is kicking in and slowing down her seizure activity. Yet, we know it is early to be able to tell for sure if the medicine is working, or if she just had a calmer day. So, we wait, and watch and continue to pray. She is still very sleepy, but she seems much more content then she did Friday and Saturday morning. I don't think she is as uncomfortable as she was at first when we added the new meds so that is good.
We appreciate all of your prayers. Please keep praying that the seizures stop completely and that her EEG shows signs of healing in her brain.
