Ruby had a couple more seizures today; we were really hoping we wouldn't see any by this time. The doctor is increasing Ruby's dosage until Thursday. If we don't see the seizures stop by then, we will have to try another drug; we can't increase the dosage of her current meds anymore because of her weight. The next drug we can try is only available in Canada so there are some hoops to jump through to get it and to have some of it covered by insurance.
I have to admit that I am disappointed we have not seen more improvement by now. Please pray that the seizures stop in the next couple of days. It's hard to watch them keep happening, knowing that it means something crazy is going on in her brain.

we know that this must be a difficult time for you but know that there are hundreds of prayers going out for Ruby daily! hopefully they can get the meds they think will work and things will improve.
I'm sorry that the seizures are still happening. I've been thinking & praying for Ruby often today, and for you. I pray that you will feel peace in this situation, get the rest you need for your baby #2, and I know that God can heal Ruby...
