Ruby is still seizure free and she had her EEG this morning. I am waiting to hear the results from the doctor, but if the EEG looks good, then we can start the steroid weaning process. The doctor will wean her very cautiously so the seizures don't come back so we could be doing shots yet for another 4-6 weeks. I am praying the EEG looks good!
She is quite moody on these steroids, but when she is happy she is babbling more and smiling a lot. She also has been more interested in having her fingers in her mouth which is a new development. We continue to work on upper body strength a lot. Hopefully she will be able to confidently hold her head up soon!
Ruby with her fingers in her mouth... you can tell the steroids have made her checks puffy in the second picture.
