Paperwork Complete?

Thanks for praying! Yesterday we received the last piece of paperwork in the mail that we needed for the adoption!!! We dropped it off at Bethany in Holland and today or tomorrow it should be brought to Bethany in Grand Rapids to join the rest of our documents. If Bethany gives the okay on everything our dossier should be able to be sent to Ethiopia soon!!

It is exciting to be almost done with this part of the process. I feel like we have been filling out papers and waiting for things in the mail since May. It will be nice to have our part done for awhile and then focus on the next phase of waiting and preparing to become parents. We have no idea how long it will take to get a referral for a child. Bethany has said it could take up to a year, but we are hoping that it will go faster than that. We are the first Bethany family to have our stuff in for Ethiopia so they don't really know how fast or slow things will go. Again we will have to be patient and trust in God's timing.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. You can pray that everything in our dossier (packet of paper) looks good and that everything gets to Ethiopia quickly and without problems. Also, keep praying for the little girl God has prepared for us; it is crazy to think she could be born already! Thanks again and have a fantastic Wednesday!
