We got our immigration paper in the mail yesterday! We had to send it back to the government when we changed countries. Now all we are waiting for is our birth certificates to come back sealed from the states we were born (MN and WA). Hopefully those will be back late next week and then we can send things to Ethiopia!! We are going to Grand Rapids today to get all of our other documents sealed with a state seal.
It is exciting to be this close to sending everything off! I know once we get the papers to Ethiopia it still may be a long wait until we get a referral for a child, but at least a lot of our busy work is done for awhile. We are going to be the first family from Bethany to have their paperwork in Ethiopia so that is exciting.
God is good and we feel content with where we are at. Mark is staying very busy at work and I just starting coaching 8th grade volleyball so that will keep me plenty busy too. Life is a gift and we are trying to keep being content with where He has put us right now.
We'll keep you posted as to when we send our paperwork to Africa! Thanks for your prayers for this to go as smoothly as possible. Have a great weekend!

YEAH!!! We keep praying that everything goes well with the adoption. Thanks for all the updates, I do check regularly even if I don't leave a comment :)! Hope all is well and I hope to talk to you very soon! Love you!
Kelli, just a quick note to let you know how cool it was to see you up on Calvary's platform Sunday morning. I loved seeing those girls huddled around with hugs and smiles for one another. It is a tribute to your leadership and commitment. Well done!
