This weekend we made a quick trip to MN to see Mark's family. It is Mark's brother Paul's 30th birthday next week and his wife Jill planned a surprise party for him on Saturday. Mark and I decided to make the trek so we could be there for the surprise. It was a ton of fun and Paul truly was shocked that everyone had kept this from him. Way to go Jill for all your work! I have some pictures I will post later.
As for the rest of the weekend- Mark and his dad got several rounds of golf in because the weather was so nice and his mom and I did some shopping. We also met Mark's other brother Michael and his family for pizza at the Pizza Ranch Friday night.
It was a great weekend to catch up with everyone and we found ourselves thanking God for our families; we feel blessed.
On the adoption front- we are still waiting on one document to complete our paperwork. Mark's birth certificate is hopefully coming soon in the mail. Pray that gets here fast and then we can send things off to Ethiopia!
