I just got done reading a fantastic book called, "There is No Me Without You" by Melissa Fay Green. In this book, a God fearing woman found herself taking care of several orphans in Ethiopia after she lost her husband and daughter. She goes on to give up her comfortable middle-class lifestyle to take care of hundreds of orphans, some who are HIV positive. It is sad and inspiring true story and it really highlights the devastating effect poverty and AIDS have had in Ethiopia and other parts of Africa.
