It looks like we will be discharged in the next hour or so. I am so excited to go home and sleep in my own bed tonight. Charlie is doing great; he just drank 3 ounces without throwing up so I am sure he will fatten up in no time.
We were trying to get Ruby admitted to DeVos yesterday so she could start her steroid shots for her seizures. She has to be admitted for a few days so they can monitor her. Unfortunately, we are waiting to get an okay from our insurance before we can start them and they are still reviewing all the doctor's notes. The steroids are incredibly expensive, so they have to go through quite a process before they say they will cover them. So, instead of coming right back here tomorrow, I think we will wait to admit her until next weekend. Then we can at least have a week at home.

Gotta love insurance companies... hope they come to a quick positive decision.. shouldn't be THAT hard.
Enjoy your time at home, I can hear in your posts how thrilled you are with Charlie's prognosis. :D

WOW-you have really been through a lot. Praise God he picked such wonderful parents for both of your children-they are truly beautiful!
Hi Kelli! This is Cheryl Johnson (from ZCS--Tim/Jami Johnson's mom). Been reading your blog off and on! WOW has your life changed since ZCS--your kids are absolutely beautiful! Not sure if Tim ever shared his story about his cousin Gavin, who was adopted from Colombia four years ago, who once home found out he also had infantile spasms. My brother and his wife went (and are still on!) the same "journey" as you and your husband so I feel I'm hearing their story again through you! If you're interested in talking to them, give me a call (772-6935). When they were in COlombia getting Gavin, my sister-in-law found out she was pregnant (so baby #2 was born when Gavin was 11 months old!!),and when baby #2 celebrated his 1st birthday, she once again announced, "I'm pregnant!" So, they now have 4,3,and almost 2-year-old boys!!!
Blessings to you and your beautiful family!
Mike/Cheryl Johnson, Jami, Tim,and Jessica
