We found out today that on top of RSV, Charlie also has a urinary tract infection. The doctor thinks this made be causing him to throw up a lot; they are treating this with IV antibiotics. I am not glad he has this infection, but I am thankful there is a reason for the vomitting. Hopefully we will get on top of this infection and then he will be able to keep food down to so he can gain some weight. Right now he isn't keeping much down and he is so exhausted that he just wants to sleep a lot so he isn't that interested in eating. My poor little guy :( I am guessing we will be here for at least a couple more days. I wish we didn't have to be in the hospital again, but I am thankful he is getting the care he needs and hopefully soon we can take home a healthier baby.
As for Ruby--We got an email from her doctor in Detroit and we will be starting a new med (Depakote) tomorrow. I am desperately hoping that this helps her; we will see.
Thank you to everyone who is praying for us and supporting us in many different ways. We again feel blessed to be surrouded by a community of people who are willing to help us out when we need it.

Continuing you in my thoughts and prayers!!
Oh your poor little guy! Praying he feels better soon and you can all be at home together. Also praying that the new med will help Ruby.
Kelli, my eyes have just filled with tears as I have read what has been going on through the last few weeks. I am praying for you, Mark, Ruby, and Charlie!

Praying!
kelli, so sorry to hear about this. I just wanted to tell you that while I don't have a seizure disorder per se, I do take an anti-seizure medication to calm some neurological symptoms i have- and I have had great luck with the two anti-seizure meds i have tried that are in the same family as the one Ruby will be on. I will pray that it helps her too!
I'm Praying hard girl!!
{hugs}
No fun to have a UTI but maybe he can be on regular formula again, that would be GREAT! (at least I think it'd be less hassle than the soy or hypoallergenic stuff). Praying for luck with the new meds for Rubs.
We will pray for the both of you. You touched our hearts so dearly Sunday, God is holding them both in his arms. Two proud parents were shining through Sunday.God shines through Ruby, look at her smile!! Poor Charlie has had a rough go, blessings that Charlie will recover quick. We will pray for the doctors in both cases, and that also the medicine works for Ruby.We pray you trust Gods grace, and believe in his healing touches.
