Saturday Update
Today went well; so far Ruby hasn't had any complications with the steroids, although we know side effects probably won't happen until she has been on them for a little longer. I gave her the shot today and it went well. I was pretty nervous, but I did it and even though I hated it now at least I know I can do it when I have to. So far Ruby's seizures haven't changed much; if anything they have gone down a little but we will have to wait a week or two to see if the steroids are really helping. It looks like we get to go home tomorrow morning if all goes as planned. We are once again looking forward to being home altogether.

That is fantastic news that you will be able to go home tomorrow!! Continuing to pray for positive results!!!!!!
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and your family. I know how hard it is to give the injections. I am praying that ACTH is the answer for Ruby.
Okay, I just read through some of your blog. I cannot believe all you have been through lately. I am here for you if you ever need anything (my e-mail address is on my blog page). Dr. Chugani is great. So incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to IS and is always a quick e-mail away.
(((hugs)))
